Unbeatable Resumes by Tony Beshara (Giveaway)

In this tough economy, where finding a new job is about as easy as crawling across the Sahara Desert on your bare knees at noon, it's important for your resume to stand out from the pack.

When I worked in Corporate America, I saw resumes of all kinds. Top-notch, well-written resumes were few and far between. Wading through 50 to 100 resumes for a single position wasn't fun, and I'm sure those numbers are higher now.

Tony Bashara, America' Top Recruiter, has written a book to help. I haven't reviewed this one yet, but in skimming through it, I can tell you that it's filled with some good advice and tons of examples. Critiques of samples are provided, along with resume makeovers. The final makeover is yours to perform.

Dr. Phil McGraw provides the Foreword for Unbeatable Resumes, and it has received advance praise from syndicated columnist and author, Joyce Lain Kennedy, and Martha E. Magelsdorf, author of Strategies for Successful Career Change.

The author's publicist has graciously provided me with a copy to give away to our readers. If you're planning to switch jobs or careers, you'll want to get your hands on this book. What better way to do it than for FREE?

This sounds like a great book. When my husband got laid off after 11 years at the same non-prof, that was his biggest hurdle...doing the resume. I worry about the same thing if I ever lose my job. Resumes are so different now than when I originally had to do one!
